Inspection

What it involves

Inspection of steel tanks to check for corrosion and other damages. We check:

• for corrosion and deformation.
• the pipes and connections.
• if there is an existing corrosion protection like paint, plastic or any equivalent protection.

A density test is also performed.

Why we do it!

According to Swedish law tanks must be inspected at least every twelve years. The inspections are carried out to maintain high security and to avoid any chemical spills.

How long does it take?

The job is done in approximately 16 hours/tank. If the tank is given a clean bill of health then it is serviceable for another 12 years.
